A Eutelsat survey analysing TV trends across the Middle East and North Africa has detailed that its market-share in comparison to terrestrial and IPTV now reaches 59 million homes, a massive 94% of the 62.2 million homes in 14 Arab speaking countries. 

HD capacity is becoming increasingly popular in the MENA region, with the number of HD equipped homes now reaching 18.2 million. There has been an increase by 44% between January 2017 and January 2018 with now over 110 HD available at this orbital position.
